Things are looking pretty bad around here lately with the next to no rain we've been getting. Here in Taneytown, many of the scattered thunderstorms often miss us while hitting nearby towns more predictably. As a farmer, the spirit of a drought really sinks into your soul and there is a sort of constant burden on you. But here are a few photos of beauty, despite the drought. I sure am hoping for cooler temps, steady rains, and good fall crops.
